Microblading with Alex at Esther Vallen. This is a semi-permanent technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows. Hair strokes, resembling real hair are placed into the skin using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles.
The first appointment is about 1.5 hours long. It consists of the consult, brow cleaning, shaping/mapping, brow numbing, microblading, and aftercare discussion. We work on the shape together and I don't begin microblading until you love them.
The mandatory touch-up is about an hour long and touches up any of the strokes that may have not stayed. This appointment occurs 4-10 weeks later. At this session, we can darken the colour if needed, go bigger and bolder, or simply just refresh the same look.
Lip blushing with Alex at Esther Vallen. This is a semi-permanent procedure that enhances the natural shape of the lips and gives a beautiful boost of colour. A tattoo machine is used to deposit pigment into 1-2 layers of the lip skin. Plenty of numbing is used before and throughout the procedure to minimize pain, which is usually reported at a 2/10 level. Lip blush lasts up to 3 years for most most clients.
The first appointment is used to discuss the client's concerns , map out their lips, and choose a colour. This appointment takes 2-2.5 hours depending on the size of the lips.
The mandatory touch-up is about 1.5-2 hours long and blends the colour of the lips to ensure an even colour is seen throughout.
